Firefox was one of the most popular browser in the world of internet until recently Google came up with Google Chrome. Now a lot of Firefox users are/have migrated to Google Chrome or Chromium because chrome's speed and snappiness. Firefox is slow, I agree and it consumes a lot of RAM sometimes. I have found some tricks to minimize the RAM usage and speed up Firefox so that it is to some extent at par with Chrome.
