Use OpenDNS

By doing this you can narrow your choice of viewing the type of site you would like to browse, You can also select black list's in categories. Hence you will automatically be blocked by the categories you have choosen, like for example, proxy's, pornography etc.

If you haven't registered yourself at opendns.com, you will automatically be blocked by phisphy sites.

But it's recommended to become a member at opendns.com so that your computer and yourself will get only what you want. Which would evidently mean... "less trash, and more sense."

OpenDNS rocks!! I use it. If you use OpenDNS you are automatically protected by phishing sites and site categories which you choose in your preferences. It can also block sites which you don't want to get opened in your network (which don't exist in their categories).
