Chat on Facebook using a client

Hi,
If you're a facebook user and chat a lot with Facebook friends, then you must be in search of a desktop client for use with Facebook chat, right ?
So in this HOWTO, I cover how to use Pidgin for Facebook chat WITHOUT any extra installation of plugins, etc.
This tutorial enables you to connect to Facebook chat using Jabber or XMPP protocol !
Steps:
- Open Pidgin
- From the Accounts menu, select Manage Accounts
- In the new window, click Add
- In the Account creation window, select Protocol as XMPP
- Type into Username the text that appears in facebook.com/username
- Type your Password
- In Resource, type something like pidgin or Home.
- Type Domain as chat.facebook.com
- Check 'Remember Password' if you wish to do so.
- Give it a Local Alias if you want
- Swtich to Advanced Tab
- Uncheck 'Require SSL/TLS'
- Type chat.facebook.com into the box which says 'Connect Server'
- Click Add
- Set your status to 'Available' or whatever you want.
- You've your facebook friends in pidgin with groups (lists) !!!!!!
