I've been blown away by Google Chrome's interface, but like many people Firefox is my favoured browser.

1.Type about:config in the address bar.

This article describes what to do if the Firefox window doesn't open when you double click on it.

- Profile Locked
- Firefox won't launch if started from an Internet shortcut or another application
- Application fails to start because js3250.dll or other program files are missing
- "The program must close to allow a previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart." on Win XP/Win Vista

- "Error opening file for writing..."
- Firefox will not start after installing or updating McAfee Site Advisor

Sometimes while launching the Firefox application, a dialog box pops up warning you the application is already running or is in use. The message looks like this:
