Microsoft's upcoming...

Maybe few of you have heard of this poem below

Microsoft Windows :

A 32-bit patch for a 16-bit GUI shell

running on top of an 8-bit operating system written for a 4-bit processor

by a 2-bit company who cannot stand 1 bit of competition. LOL!!

Perhaps this is the very thing we will be looking at for some time now... As i was browsing through few major linux dedicated sites like desktoplinux.com... it states the following

Linux, netbooks threaten Microsoft's fat profits — Microsoft's bottom line is hurting from Linux gains in netbooks, says a Bloomberg.com story. A recent drop in Windows revenues is due in part to the fact that leading netbook vendors Acer and Asus run Linux on about 30 percent of their netbooks, says the story. ...

Which perhaps, is very sad for Microsoft... more to that, HCL has been recommending linux on their desktops, and Dell is readily shipping their laptops with ubuntu hardwired into them with all the right hardware supported by linux. This has given a push to the linux community... or maybe this is why Bill Gates retired...

Putting down the most contrary picture, which is rather unimaginable ....

Bill Gates recommends ubuntu

Don't be shocked, Bill gates didn't pose for this pic... some great mind had put his creativity to work.
