In this article I talk about the new Samsung N110 laptop analyzing its features, etc.

It is ultra portable. You can carry it anywhere – on travel, cafe, or wherever you have internet.

It has an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam (I think 1.3 is a good one for a webcam). So now you remain in contact with your friends and family easily. It can be also used for video conferencing and live messaging. The camera has high frame rates of a video camera and resolution and image quality of a still camera. Well telephone calls nowadays have become quite costly, especially international calls. So you can be in touch with your long distant relatives easily and cheap! I like this feature.

The N110's screen uses LEDs for display – consuming less power (+ more battery time); also the system is more durable as there are fewer breakable parts. In India we've a huge power shortage. So its better for us and countries where there's power shortage.

The keyboard is coated with Silver Nano Technology so 99.9% of the bacterium are killed within 24 hours – more hygienic working environment. For work, hygiene is equally important. I feel until you are clean and the enviornment around you is clean, you can't put your full brain to work i.e. you cannot extract optimum work from yourself.

Its battery is powerful enough to provide you a large backup of 9.5 hours (continuous movie 4.5 hours backup), so move anytime anywhere with it. You're always ready! Suppose your boss asks you to make a presentation in some seminar suddenly providing you the presentation file. So you must have backup. And your lappy does have it. It is always ready!

Most of the laptops present you with a keyboard smaller than the standard keyboard size used on desktop machines. But this one has a size of 93% of the desktop keyboard (of course it doesn't have the numpad). Fingers pain a lot in small keyboards and you have to search for appropriate keys on the keyboard if you are between amateur and professional typist - like for example myself. My typing speed is 50 WPM. If I take my dad's laptop I am able to type at a speed less than this; may be around 30 WPM. So see small keyboard plays havoc on your typing speed. The keyboard in this lappy is as large as a desktop one. So it won't play a havoc!

Last but not the least, it isn't run by the buggy Windows Vista Home, but our old friend Windows XP Home.
